ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR 2004

Technological Entrepreneur of the year 2004 became the head executive of ELKO EP - Jiří Konečný.

The prestigious competition isrun annually by an advisory company Ernst & Young announced a special sub-category Technological Entrepreneur of the Year was awarded for the fist time. It aimed to award an entrepreneur who could integrate modern technologies (information technology, communication, Internet, biotechnologies, etc.) to a company processes in order to enhance a global success of the company. The awards ceremony was held in Prague’s Žofín on 24 November 2004.

Technology Fast 50 award

Our company ELKO EP took the 27th position out of 500 nominated companies from Central Europe, whereas companies on the front 26 positions were from IT business.

Program Central European Technology Fast 50 is the only competition that makes a chart of Central Europe companies according to their yields from 5-years period.
