Offer pre-certification internal measurements ELKO EP laboratory testing.
ELKO EP has been operating its own testing laboratory for more than 15 years. During this time, the laboratory has gained experience in conducting testing and development tests to assess not only ELKO EP products, but also many other electrical devices used in industrial processes and in households.
In 2016, the laboratory underwent a major refurbishment in an effort to expand its portfolio of tests and increase its operating capacity. For this reason, ELKO EP now offers the possibility to carry out pre-certification tests to external customers and partners.
The laboratory provides electromagnetic compatibility tests, electrical safety tests and specific functional tests.
The laboratory has a quality management system according to ČSN EN ISO 9001 and this year we are introducing a quality management system according to ČSN EN ISO/IEC 17025 as well as a plan to pass the accreditation process.
From the very beginning, the laboratory had to be able to keep pace with the demands of ELKO EP, which developed dynamically in the Czech and international markets, so we take for granted the need of maximum flexibility and openness in responding to customer needs.

A special room designed for thermostat behaviour tests, It is equipped with five air-conditioning heating systems and three mounting walls of different materials (Porotherm, gypsum and insulated plasterboard). The room is thermally insulated from the rest of the building and is equipped as a standard living room.
The purpose of the room is to trace the development of a measurement error in thermostats located in different materials.
