Do you forget to turn off sometimes, and for a long time do they shine unnecessarily? We know the solution, and it is not complicated at all. Simply replace light bulbs with LED lights.
10 halogen bulbs with 40W consumption and an average illumination for 2 hours a day will take from your wallet the amount of 1500 CZK per year. If you use the equivalent in the form of LED bulbs, you get the amount of CZK 300 per year. With a difference of CZK 290 for the Halogen / LED purchase price, the return is 1.4 years, with the lifetime of the halogen bulb being 1000h on average and 10,000h for LED bulbs.
Replace old with new!
LEDs take 10 times less power; they illuminate at the same intensity and for a long time. The normal bulb has a lifetime of 1000h and you change it at least once a year. The LED bulb lights up to 10,000 hours, 10 times longer.
But watch out! Not all LEDs are created equally. Read the parameters carefully. How many lumens does your selected LED have? 800 lumens are about 60W. Another factor in LEDs is optics, i.e. scattering. For low-quality LED bulbs, the light is focused only downwards. It almost blinds you in the shop, but when you come home you will find that you only have a spotlight. Another important parameter is the LED CHIP located inside the LED! But it is virtually undetectable! Buy LEDs only from renowned manufacturers.. It can happen that the LEDs from cheap competitors after a 1000 hours of illumination will lose light and even the colour of light will change.
