Satellite receiver VU + Solo2

VU+ Solo2 is a satellite receiver with operating system Linux. Processor Dual Core CPU 1.3 GHz, 2x tuner DVB-S2 MPEG2/H.264, 1GB RAM, 256MB Flash.

Device VU+ Solo2 used to receive satellite signals and for streaming television programs which can be overplayed using multimedia extensions - iNELS Multimedia (iMM).

This iNELS multimedia extension enables integration with third party devices (cameras, air conditioning, recovery, intercoms, weather stations etc.) and allows complex control of multimedia integrated into iNELS system. All you need is iMM Client/Server to achieve this extension. Thanks to that device you can connect all technologies in your house and control them through just one app - iNELS Home Control (iHC). iHC apps are intended for smartphones and tablets with OS Android and iOS.

iMM Client/Server creates a Videozone - the main part is TV which enables you to watch pictures, play the music or movies from central storage, and also watch TV programmes. And to watch TV programmes, the iNELS system should be supplemented with satellite receiver VU + Solo2. This device receive a satellite signal and is responsible for network streaming. You can control the entire system through iHC app in your smartphone or tablet. You can also watch TV programmes (movies, music, images) in any zone. 

The rear panel includes a number of connectors, the most important for iMM are: 

• two tuner input DVB-S2 to connect satellite dishes
• ethernet connector RJ45 to connect to the network

For the initial configuration of IP addresses, transponders, tuning programs and installation plugin for EPG (electronic program guide) it is necessary to connect directly to VU+Solo2. We will use other connectors:

• HDMI to connect TV and monitor
• 2 x USB connectors to connect mouse and keyboard
